Artist Description:
"I made D1DE using a piece of software I wrote called Drawist. I created Drawist to explore how drawings could be created by an artist interacting with algorithms. In the case of D1DE, the drawing is created over time by growing branched arcs into areas constrained by the artist and the arcs already present. Chance plays a large role in Drawist, such that each piece is a unique expression of millions of small, local decisions, while being shaped by the will of the artist."
